The domain can receive mail, but the individual mailbox was not tested. Some providers refuse to confirm single mailboxes to protect privacy.

What is a catch-all domain?

A domain that accepts mail for any address, real or not. Mail will not bounce, so the specific inbox cannot be confirmed.

Do you send an email to test it?

No. Nothing arrives in the inbox and the owner is not notified.
