Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of RevealEmail (revealemail.com), including the lookup tool, reports, credits, and any other content or features on the website.

By using RevealEmail, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the website or services.

1. About RevealEmail

RevealEmail is a reverse email lookup service. It searches public and commercially available sources for information connected to an email address.

We don’t create the information shown in reports. We collect, organize, and display it from third-party sources so you can make a more informed decision about an address.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use RevealEmail. By using the service, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18
  • You will use the service only for lawful purposes
  • You will follow these Terms and all laws that apply to you

3. Our services

RevealEmail currently offers:

  • A free check that shows whether an address is correctly formatted, whether its domain accepts mail, which provider runs the mailbox, and risk signals such as disposable or shared role inboxes
  • Full reports that add linked online accounts, names, usernames, and profile photos where sources expose them, with a breakdown of the sources checked
  • Credit packs used to run full reports

You don’t need an account to use RevealEmail. We may change, add, limit, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

4. Free checks

Free checks are limited per IP address, currently 10 per hour and 50 per day, to prevent abuse. We may change these limits or remove free checks at any time. Free results show less than a full report.

5. Credits and payment

  • Credits are sold in one-time packs. There is no subscription, and nothing renews.
  • One credit runs one full report on one email address.
  • Credits expire 30 days after purchase.
  • Opening an existing report again from its link, or searching the same address again while its report is stored, doesn’t use another credit.
  • A credit is used when a full report runs, even if the report finds no linked accounts, because the search was performed across our sources.
  • If a report fails to run because of a technical problem on our side, the credit is not spent.

Prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. By purchasing, you agree to pay the listed price and any applicable taxes. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

Your credit code is sent to the email address you enter at checkout. Keep it private: anyone with the code can use its credits.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy. In summary:

  • An unused pack can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase.
  • Unused credits from a partly used pack bought within the last 14 days can be refunded pro rata.
  • Spent credits aren’t refundable, including reports that found no linked accounts.
  • If a report failed for a technical reason, contact us with the report link and we’ll review it and restore the credit where we got it wrong.

Nothing in these Terms limits any refund rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live.

7. Search results and accuracy

Reports can include names, usernames, linked accounts, profile photos, mail provider details, and risk signals connected to an email address.

We don’t verify every piece of information, and we don’t guarantee that results are accurate, complete, current, or connected to the right person. Public data can be outdated, incomplete, duplicated, or matched to someone with a similar name or username. A report that finds nothing doesn’t mean an address is safe, and a match doesn’t prove identity.

You are responsible for how you interpret and use results. Don’t rely on RevealEmail as your only source for important decisions.

8. Not a consumer reporting agency

RevealEmail is not a consumer reporting agency, and reports are not consumer reports under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

You may not use RevealEmail or any report for purposes covered by consumer reporting laws, including decisions about:

  • Employment or volunteer screening
  • Tenant screening or housing
  • Credit, loans, or insurance
  • Education or government benefit eligibility
  • Any other decision that requires a regulated consumer report

9. Acceptable use

RevealEmail is intended for personal safety and verification. You may use it to:

  • Check whether a suspicious email is a scam
  • Check whether a dating match or online contact is who they claim to be
  • Verify a sender before you reply, pay, or share information
  • See which accounts are linked to your own email address

10. Prohibited use

You may not use RevealEmail to:

  • Harass, stalk, threaten, shame, or intimidate anyone
  • Dox, expose, or publicly target another person
  • Commit fraud, identity theft, or impersonation, or take over accounts
  • Blackmail, extort, or coerce anyone
  • Search for or target minors
  • Carry out unlawful surveillance
  • Break privacy, anti-discrimination, or consumer protection laws
  • Resell, publish, redistribute, or bulk-export reports without our written permission
  • Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the website, or get around the free check limits
  • Overload, damage, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service

11. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the addresses you search, how you use reports, any actions you take based on results, and following the laws that apply to you. You agree not to use information from RevealEmail in a way that violates another person’s rights.

12. Suspension and termination

We may block access, cancel credit codes, or refuse service if we reasonably believe that you:

  • Violated these Terms or used the service unlawfully
  • Used the service to harass, stalk, or harm someone
  • Tried to scrape, automate, or overload the service
  • Abused refunds, disputes, or chargebacks
  • Put RevealEmail, our providers, or other people at risk

Credits cancelled because of a violation of these Terms aren’t refundable.

13. Third-party sources and links

RevealEmail relies on third-party data providers, websites, and platforms. We aren’t responsible for their accuracy, availability, content, or privacy practices, or for changes they make. Websites linked from RevealEmail or from reports are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

14. Requests about information in reports

If you believe a report shows information about you that is inaccurate, outdated, or should be removed, email support@revealemail.com with the email address the report is about, what you want reviewed, and why. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Removing information from RevealEmail doesn’t remove it from the original website, search engine, social platform, or data source.

15. Intellectual property

The RevealEmail website, name, logo, design, text, software, and reports are owned by RevealEmail or its licensors.

We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service and your reports for your own lawful purposes under these Terms. You may not copy, sell, modify, reverse engineer, or distribute any part of the website or service without our written permission.

16. Service availability

We work to keep RevealEmail available, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. The service or some results may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, outages at our data providers, security events, or events outside our control. We aren’t liable for temporary downtime, delays, or unavailable results.

17. Disclaimer of warranties

RevealEmail is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, that:

  • The service will always be available or error-free
  • Reports will be accurate, complete, or current
  • Any person shown in a report is the correct person
  • The service will meet your expectations

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, RevealEmail and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Lost profits, data, or business
  • Emotional distress or damage to reputation
  • Decisions you make based on report results
  • Errors or omissions in third-party data
  • Misuse of the service by other users

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid RevealEmail in the 12 months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so some of the above may not apply to you.

19. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RevealEmail and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the service or report information
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of another person’s rights or of any law

20. Privacy

Your use of RevealEmail is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it, and how long we keep it.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Changes apply from the date they are posted and don’t affect purchases made before that date. Continued use of RevealEmail after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

22. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where RevealEmail’s operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in your local courts where the law allows it.
